What You Should See

Lot of releases this weekend, with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them among the biggest of the year. Right now it’s looking good, though maybe not a knockout, but I doubt I have to tell you whether or not to see it. If you don’t know it’s set in the Harry Potter universe by now, then I hope this sentence helps.

Similarly, Bleed for This, a movie about the real-life boxer looks good enough to see if you’re into it, The Edge of Seventeen might be one of the surprise hits of the year, but it might also go relatively unnoticed, while Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk looks like the only major disappointment of this weekend’s major releases.

Really though, if I was going to actually recommend one movie to see this weekend, it’s be Christine, because it looks really good and it doesn’t look like everything else coming out this week. It’s playing at the Princess. Oh, and it’s not the 1983 horror movie of the same name about an evil killer car, I think it’s about the media or some other self-important thing.
