What You Should See

Man, I was so looking forward to The Accountant. That premise, that controlled sense of direction, post-crappy movies Ben Affleck. Radiohead. But now I’m not. See it or don’t. I might, I might not.  It probably won’t matter.

Meanwhile, Kevin Hart: What Now? is opening this weekend too, and I don’t think I have to tell you whether or not to see it. It’s standup Kevin Hart, which is, generally, much better than movie star Kevin Hart, but you know if you want to see a standup performance, right? See it or don’t. I might, I might not.  It won’t matter.

Meanwhile meanwhile, Complete Unknown is showing at the Princess, and it actually looks pretty intriguing. Rachel Weisz is a good actor, I’ll consider almost anything Michael Shannon is in, and it’s nice to see Danny Glover’s still getting work. But now I’m not intrigued. See it or don’t. I might, I might not. Nothing seems to matter anymore.

Actually, you guys should see Deepwater Horizon. Not enough people saw that. And it has Kurt Russell in it.  And that still matters.
