What You Should See
Critically speaking, it’s actually a very good week for new releases, with new movies like Coco and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri coming highly recommended from me personally, The Man Who Invented Christmas, Sweet Virginia, and Neither Wolf Nor Dog holding their own in aggregated reviews, and even less critically successful fare like Roman J. Israel, Esq and Explosion looking at least entertaining, but… I don’t know, there’s something missing… some sort of spark that would make this weekend exciting…
Oh, I know, why not spend An Evening with Greg Sestero! That’s right, the man, the myth, the guy on the receiving end of the greatest line ever recorded by man will be joining audiences at Metro Cinema this Saturday night before another of Metro’s screenings of The Room! All leading up to the December 1st release of The Disaster Artist.
Also… go see Justice League. It’s so much better than people are giving it credit before and, even though I’ve said this before about other movies, I really mean it this time: If people don’t support this thing, it might not make it. Our review will be up tomorrow.
