What You Should See

I don’t feel there was a great deal of crossover between last week’s big releases, Spectre and The Peanuts Movie, so if you only saw one last weekend, this is a good weekend to see the other since they’re both worth your time (more or less).

The Christmas/poor-judge-of-movies crowd might want to see Love the Coopers (but I wouldn’t recommend it), while those of you still leaning more towards the horrific than the familial two weeks after Halloween would do well to see Goodnight Mommy at the Garneau. Technically both of those movies are about family, but I’ll leave it to you to sort out which best suits your mood.

Families may also be interested in seeing the DBA Holiday Light Up Christmas tree lighting/fireworks display going on at Churchill on Saturday, so there’s that too.

Or don’t see anything. Don’t even go out at all. Be that way.
