  1. The Martian
  2. Bridge of Spies
  3. Goosebumps
  4. Hotel Transylvania 2
  5. Crimson Peak

What You Should See

Pretty big weekend for major releases, with movies for just about everyone, even if they all look like they’re going to be slightly worse than we expected. Bridge of Spies will be good, but maybe not the kind of good you need to see right away considering it’ll probably have some extended runs during Oscar season. Goosebumps will be a good scary movie for the while those adults looking for some horror might be disappointed to find out that Crimson Peak is actually more of a romantic movie with horrific elements.

Of the indie movies opening… well, none of them look that great, though none of them look that bad either. I feel obligated to point out that Woodlawn is a faith-based movie, so standard “maybe-don’t-see-this-one” warnings apply.  Again, it’s all a big, mixed bag and maybe everyone should just go see The Martian again.
